Mr. Syed Salman is a strategic business leader and committed community contributor with over 26 years of professional experience in the Sultanate of Oman. His extensive tenure in the country has given him deep insight into Omani culture, consumer behavior, and market trends—insight that has consistently informed successful brand strategies, organizational growth, and market development across sectors including luxury retail, FMCG, healthcare, media, and consumer electronics.
Academically, Salman holds a Post Graduate degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing & International Business Management from I.I.S.E., Lucknow (1998). He is also a graduate in English Literature from Lucknow University and an alumnus of St. Francis College, Lucknow—educational experiences that have shaped his values of discipline, communication, and service-oriented leadership.
Professionally, he has held several key leadership roles, including heading trade and marketing at Abaad Investments, managing national operations for Pure Gold Group, and spearheading strategic growth initiatives across leading organizations in Oman. Known for combining market insight with operational precision, Salman has driven transformative business outcomes while maintaining a strong focus on local relevance and customer-centricity.

Dr. Syed Ahsan Jamil is an erudite scholar, a prolific speaker and a career academician with over 28 years of experience and had worked with various academic institutions of repute both in India and abroad.
As a professor of finance, he has been associated with some of the leading academic institutions like Institute of Productivity and Management, Institute of Management Studies, University of Lucknow, Indian Institute of information Technology (IIIT), Allahabad, etc. He has to his credit several scholarly publications, which include three books, and more than 60 research papers published in international journals of repute indexed in Scopus and Web of Science with 1200 citations and is on the editorial bodies of several international journals. He has chaired international conferences and seminars and has been a guest speaker in many international Universities including TEDx Arabia. He has received the best faculty awards for his insightful teaching, pedagogy and teaching methodology. He has rich experience in educational administration and has been head of departments, faculty and colleges.
He also served as the Dean of the College of Commerce and Business Administration, Dhofar University for a period of ten years from 2012 to 2022 and in all has been for 16 years in the service of the university. Internationally, he has served on the Association to Advance Collegiate School of Business (AACSB) Dean Advisory Council for Middle East and North African (MENA) region. His passion for academic excellence has been always on the forefront and therefore he has been deeply involved in academic accreditation implementation and achievements. He is also the institutional Reviewer with the Oman Authority for academic accreditation and quality assurance for education (OAAAQA). He initiated the inception of Hindi language to be taught as a foreign language with support from the embassy of India in Oman for Omani students at the university.
Dr. Jamil has always been passionate about social service and worked with a number of NGOs associated with school education for children especially underprivileged children. Even in the sultanate his passion for development of quality school education led him to serve on the school management committee of the 4500-student strong Indian School, Salalah for a period of eight years including being the President of the School Management Committee (SMC).
Presently, he is the Deputy Vice Chancellor (DVC) of the prestigious Dhofar University, Salalah which is ranked 49 in THE World University Ranking-Arab region and is the first Indian in the sultanate to be appointed on this position.

Dr. Abubacker Siddique is a Specialist Orthodontist by profession for the past 24 years with about 21 years of work experience in Salalah. He has been instrumental in setting up a chain of dental clinics and optical centers in Salalah (The Al Zahir group of establishments). He is the Managing Director for this group of concerns. He completed the masters degree for his speciality with first rank and gold medal. Throughout the years of his domicile here, he has been actively involved with various organizations related to the Indian community

Mr.Yaser Mohammed M.V having a rich experience of 15 years as a Dental Technician in India and abroad, strongly believes in promoting simplicity and dedication towards values and goals with analytical and planning skills, and this belief has led him to be associated with the well being of the society. He has a rich background in social service with a vast experience of more than twenty years in Bismi Charitable Trust, a reputed charitable organization in Kerala in the field of medical and educational services and has also worked in Yateem Fund a special organization to find out, educate and protect orphans from various places of Kerala.
He has also been actively participating in the activities off ‘Haritha Kozhikode’ movement, an environmental organization based in Kerala, related to environment, agriculture and livelihood, He thinks the purpose of education is to equip and prepare individuals with the skills and tools necessary to follow their dreams. Dr. Shaji Sreedhar Member
Dr. Shaji Sreedhar has been a Homeopathic physician for the past 26 years. He completed his BHMS from the esteemed Father Muller Medical College, India. He was the Former MD & chief Consultant in PS Homoeo medical center Kakkattil, Kerala. He is a proud member of the Homeopathic Association Oman and also the Ontario Homeopathic Medical Association, Canada. He is currently practicing as a Consultant at City Homeopathic Clinic, Salalah, Oman, since 2004.
Dr. Shaji is a staunch believer in integrating medicine and has done his part to help spread awareness of alternative medicine in Oman. Health seminars, webinars and blood donation campaigns are always on his to-do list. He believes in a holistic approach and is a strong advocate of the importance of mental health. Mr. MOHAMMAD JABIR SHAREEF is an Audiologist & Speech-Language pathologist by profession with 10 years of experience in developing and implementing individualized and group therapy for patients and children of various ages with language delays, articulation disorders, and autism spectrum disorders. He completed his Master’s Degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology from Bangalore University and has presented many research papers in seminars conducted by the Indian Speech and Hearing Association and universities. Keeping his profession as his passion, he is an active participant in social work and community/pupil awareness programmes in the field of inclusive education, rehabilitation and special education. Dr. Shariq Mohammed is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Accounting at Dhofar University. He has been working with Dhofar University since 2013.He is an academician for almost twenty-five years. He has taught in various higher education institutes in India and now in Dhofar University, Salalah, Oman. He has a PhD in Management from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, (UPTU) Lucknow, U.P. India. Additionally, he has two Master’s Degree from Lucknow University, U.P. India i.e. M. Com. and MBA. Dr. Sanyo Moosa, an esteemed alumnus of Indian School Salalah, has carved a remarkable path in the field of academia. After completing his early education at Indian School Salalah, he completed his PhD from the prestigious University of Mysore. Currently, Dr. Sanyo serves as the Academic Coordinator of the College of Economics and Business Administration (CEBA) at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences (UTAS). His role involves overseeing academic programs, ensuring the highest standards of education, and fostering an environment of innovation and excellence across the 8 branches of CEBA in Oman. Dr. Sanyo’s research interests include stress management, human resource management, and employee performance. Mr. Praveeth Kurumgott Member
Mr. Praveeth Kurumgott is currently working as a lecturer in the College of Economics and Business Administration at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences (UTAS-Salalah). He has been affiliated with UTAS-Salalah since 2014. He has nearly eighteen years of teaching and research experience in various higher education institutions in India and Oman.
He completed his Master of Commerce (M.Com) degree from the Department of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Calicut. Additionally, he earned an M.Phil. degree from the Department of Commerce, Kerala University. He has presented numerous papers at international conferences across various countries and has also published research articles in academic journals.
Apart from his teaching responsibilities, he serves as the Head of the Examination Committee for the College of Economics and Business Administration. In this role, he is responsible for scheduling examinations and ensuring their smooth conduct in accordance with university standards.
Mr. DEEPAK PATANKAR Principal
Mr. DEEPAK PATANKAR is an accomplished Principal with 33 years of professional experience, educational leadership and school administration in Mumbai (India) and Indian School Salalah (Oman). He joined Indian School Salalah as Principal on 1st of July, 2019, when the school was very much in need of the Principal. Within this short period of four years, the school under his leadership and teamwork is functioning smoothly and has been excelling in academics, sports and co-curricular activities and continues to be one of the top most Indian schools in Oman.
