World Health Day Celebration 2025–2026
April 7, 2025

Indian School Salalah always aligns its Vision, Mission and Quality objectives with the holistic development of the students.
The primary school, classes 3&4, celebrated World Health Day, on April 7, with enthusiasm and
creativity, focusing on activities that would engage students while reinforcing essential health
related habits.
The highlight of the celebration was a colouring activity sheet distributed to all students. The
sheets featured fun and educational illustrations related to healthy practices, such as exercising,
eating fruits and vegetables, and maintaining hygiene. It also has a health monitoring sequence
for the students to be a monitor at their home for taking care of every one’s health. The students
eagerly coloured the sheets, showcasing their artistic flair while learning about health through
visual cues.
A heartfelt moment of the day was when the students collectively took a pledge to uphold
healthy habits in their daily lives. They promised to exercise regularly, eat nutritious meals, stay
clean, and avoid junk food, highlighting their commitment to a healthy lifestyle.
Additionally, a special video promoting healthy habits was shown in classrooms. The video
featured engaging animations and relatable scenarios, demonstrating the benefits of exercise,
healthy eating, and personal hygiene in an interactive manner. The students thoroughly enjoyed
the video and participated in discussions afterward, sharing what they learned.
These thoughtfully planned activities made the World Health Day celebration both impactful
and memorable for the young learners. By the end of the day, students left with a deeper
understanding of health and wellness, ready to embrace positive habits in their lives.
