INDIAN SCHOOL SALALAH CELEBRATED THE UPPER KINDERGARTEN GRADUATION CEREMONY

The Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony was held on Saturday, 14th February, at 6:00 p.m., graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. Syed Ahsan Jamil, President of the School Management Committee, alongside other distinguished committee members. The school was privileged to host Ms. Fatima Ahmed Bakhit Al Barami, Director of Student Welfare and Residency at Dhofar University, as the Chief Guest. The occasion was also graced by the Principal, Mr. Deepak Patankar; Vice Principal, Mr. Mammikutty; and Assistant Vice Principals, Dr. Vipin Das and Mrs. Anita Rose.
The program commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries, symbolizing a bright future for the young graduates. Mrs. Diwakaran Vidya (KG faculty) extended a warm and cordial welcome to the chief guest, management members, parents, and students.
The evening unfolded with a creative fashion parade titled “Rhythm of Nature,” where students portrayed the five elements of nature with confidence and enthusiasm. The Annual Report for the academic year 2025–26 was presented by the Kindergarten In-charge, Mrs. Anjali Radhakrishnan, highlighting the year’s scholastic and co-scholastic milestones.
UKG students captivated the audience with vibrant performances, including action songs and a fusion dance. Heartwarming reflections were shared by the children as they looked back on their fondest kindergarten memories.
Dr. Syed Ahsan Jamil, President-SMC, addressed the gathering, conveying his heartfelt congratulations to the graduating class. Mrs. Anita Rose, AVP, also spoke, offering words of motivation to the children as they prepare for the next phase of their academic journey.
The highlight of the evening was the memento distribution ceremony. A total of 207 students from UKG A to UKG G proudly walked across the stage to receive their tokens of achievement from the chief guest and dignitaries.
The entire program was confidently compered by the UKG students themselves, showcasing remarkable communication skills. The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by the children, followed by Ms. Manisha Choudhary.
The evening was a grand success and will remain a cherished memory for the students, parents, and staff of Indian School Salalah.
