INDIAN SCHOOL SALALAH CELEBRATED HINDI DIWAS

The Hindi Department of Indian School Salalah celebrated Hindi Diwas on September 14th, 2025, in the School Auditorium with great zeal and enthusiasm. To mark the occasion, the primary wing of Indian School Salalah organized a special assembly, creating awareness about the Hindi language among students through various cultural events and speeches.
The occasion was graced by Vice Principal Mr. Mammikutty, AVPs Dr. Vipindas and Mrs. Anita Rose, Mrs. Anjali, KG In-Charge, teachers of the Hindi Department, and all teachers from the Primary wing of Indian School Salalah.
Miss Aashvi and Doddi Charu of Class II welcomed the gathering. Master Azhan and Miss Aarya, also of Class II, delivered eloquent speeches emphasizing the importance of Hindi. The action song “Aao Hum Sab Hath Milaye” and the dance performance by students of Classes 1 and 2 to the song “Ek Zindagi Meri Sau Khwaishe” captured the audience’s attention. During the programme, slogans highlighting the significance of the Hindi language were presented by the students of Classes 1 and 2.
Mrs. Juli P. John, PGT faculty of the Hindi Department, emphasized in her speech that everyone should strive to speak and improve their vocabulary in Hindi language, though the children of Indian School Salalah come from different states.
Vice Principal Mr. Mammikutty in his address encouraged and appreciated the students for their remarkable performance on this occasion. The programme concluded with the National Anthem.
