In the Under-14 Boys category, 25 schools competed, divided into five pools for the league stage, followed by the knockout rounds. Indian School Salalah was placed in Pool-C, where matches were conducted on a point based system.
In the opening match against Army Public School, New Delhi, our boys displayed great spirit and chased down the opposition with confidence, registering a 7–6 win. The second match, played under floodlights against L.B.S. Sr. Sec. School, Rohtak (New Delhi), turned out to be a nail-biting encounter. Despite a strong performance, we narrowly missed victory with a 5–6 loss. The third game against Grizzly Vidyalaya, Koderma was another thrilling contest in which the team fought hard but fell short by just two points, ending 13–15. In the final league match against Sri Prakash Vidya Niketan, Visakhapatnam, our boys staged a strong comeback in the second innings to secure a 6–6 draw, showcasing remarkable resilience and teamwork.
Over the course of four matches, the team recorded one win, one draw, and two losses. Although they narrowly missed qualifying for the quarterfinals by just a single point, the Under-14 boys emerged as the top-performing Gulf team in this category. Even under challenging conditions, including rain-affected grounds, their fighting spirit and sportsmanship remained evident throughout.
