CODE & CONQUER – 2026 provided much more than a competitive platform. It offered students valuable exposure to advanced robotics applications, opportunities to interact with young innovators from other schools and an enriching experience of translating classroom learning into practical applications.
Participation in the event helped strengthen their problem-solving abilities, logical reasoning, teamwork, creativity and confidence. It also offered valuable technical insights that will contribute to the further enhancement of the school’s robotics programme.
In particular, the Senior Category Robo Sumo event highlighted the need to explore more advanced robotics hardware. LEGO EV3 was identified as a potential upgrade option from LEGO SPIKE Prime to better prepare students for future competitive events.
The students’ remarkable performance was appreciated by the school leadership.
Dr. Syed Ahsan Jamil, President of the School Management Committee (SMC), the members of the SMC and Principal Ms. Saher M. A. Sayed congratulated Mr. Mohammad Javed, Head of the Department of Computer Science, and the entire Computer Science Department for their dedicated efforts, effective guidance and continued commitment to providing students with meaningful opportunities to explore robotics and emerging technologies.
Special appreciation was extended to Ms. T. Shiny Miracle and Ms. Abirami Manian for their dedicated mentoring, continuous guidance and tireless efforts in preparing the students for the competition. Their commitment, particularly during the stay-back practice sessions and throughout the event, played a significant role in the students’ successful participation and achievements.
Indian School Salalah congratulates all the participants and mentors on this commendable achievement and wishes them continued success in their future endeavours.
