THE PROGRAM

The Covid-19 pandemic brings an unprecedented challenge and is potentially one of the greatest threats in our lifetime. It has affected people regardless of nationality, level of education, income or gender.

Given this situation of instability and crises, we at Indian School Salalah aims to bring about sustainable and long lasting change that builds a brighter future for all our children.

Our program “SPONSOR A CHILD” is designed to support all the children who are at high risk of dropping out from school.

IDENTIFICATION OF CHILDREN IN NEED

Nomination of children for sponsorship is based on the Social Audit conducted by the school team. Students with pending fees for more than 1 calendar year and above have been selected for the Social Audit. The combined efforts will benefit all the identified financially stressed families by providing education to their wards.

HOW TO SPONSOR

The sponsorship form is available in the school office or the same can be downloaded from the school website.

The student sponsorship can be a one-time donation or at intervals spread over one calendar year.

You can sponsor a child’s school tuition fees for:

 Your kind contributions can be made both offline and online. Either way you choose, the process is quick and easy.

THE OFFLINE MODE

1. The sponsors are advised to fill the sponsorship form, and submit the required data in the school office along with the donation amount.
2. The donation over the school counter is accepted in cash and cheque only.
3. All cheques should be made in the favour of... INDIAN SCHOOL SALALAH (Postdated cheques will not be accepted)
4. A receipt acknowledging the donation will be given to the sponsor.

THE ONLINE MODE

1. Your donations are requested in the form of  internet banking/ bank transfer
2. The account details : BANK DHOFAR CURRENT ACCOUNT,      A/C NO: 1041277542001
3. To specify in the Narration “ Sponsor a Child “
4. After submission of payment, please use the ONLINE FORM  (CLICK HERE)   to fill up the sponsorship and transaction details therein.
5. On successful completion of the process, e-receipt will be mailed to the sponsor by the school office after verifying the donations received.
6. The receipt received can be printed or saved for record.

‘SPONSOR A CHILD’ is an ongoing program, one can join and discontinue anytime.

The sponsors will be awarded a ‘Certificate of Appreciation’ in recognition of their generous contribution.
