Indian School Salalah
“Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think.”- Albert Einstein
Dear Members of Indian School Salalah family, well-wishers and visitors,
Greetings!
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our School Website. The purpose of this webpage is to provide parents, students and our school community with easy access to a wealth of information on our School programmes, policies and activities.
Our school has a long-standing tradition of excellence in academics, athletics, Quiz and other co-curricular activities. At Indian School Salalah, we are committed to our mission of preparing students to be productive citizens and life-long learners in an ever-changing world.
We believe that there are numerous opportunities, both within our curricula and through extracurricular activities, for our students to gain the skills that will allow them to be successful in their lives after schooling at ISS. Therefore, wholesome participation of every child is encouraged in co-curricular activities and care is also taken to ensure the well-being and happiness of each and every student in the school.
With a long and rewarding history of achievement in education behind us, our school community continues to move forward together with confidence, pride, and enthusiasm.
At ISS, all aspects of our educational processes are carefully designed to cultivate and stimulate the intellectual, social and personal development of the most important stakeholders at this institution- the students. As we are here to serve a global community, we assist internationally mobile families in making a smooth transfer to any school system or graduate to universities world-wide.
We are passionate about creating a ‘learning’ institution that is dynamic and constantly seeking excellence to meet the needs of the present as well as the future. The teachers at ISS are highly competent, qualified, and experienced educators who are committed to supporting each student’s learning experience through quality instruction and guidance that addresses the needs of the individual child. Our teachers work to provide students with differentiated support that address each student’s specific needs both academically and socially.
We firmly believe that the parents are their child’s first and most important teacher. Parents play a vital role in the education of their children. We happily welcome all our parents to take an active role in the education of their children and to be active participants in our school life. Get to know the staff, especially the child’s teachers and assist where you can so we can work together in the interests of everyone.
We look forward to welcoming you to be part of our vibrant learning community.
