Re-opening for class XII – Hybrid classes on October 5, 2021

The school campus turned lively today on 5th October 2021 as the school reopened post pandemic. 

The President of SMC Dr. Syed Ahsan Jamil, Dr. Ambu Suresh, Chairman, HSE and the other esteemed members of the SMC along with Principal Mr. Deepak Patankar and his devote team of teachers were elated as they received the students of Grade XII back to school campus for their regular classes.

The students were greeted by the Principal and the SMC members with a personalized welcome card and a smile. The students were excited to meet the Principal, the teachers and their friends after a long time. There is an aura of happiness found in the campus.

All the precautionary measures were taken as the students returned to school. The temperature of each student was checked at the school gate followed by Vaccination certificate verification and collection. An ambulance was also stationed inside the school campus to meet the emergency needs.

The parents are asked to fill a Google form to mention every day health status of the students and the form responses are verified at the entrance before the students enter the school premises. All the staff at Indian School Salalah are vaccinated and their everyday health status response is also collected before they come to school. A detailed set of guidelines and procedures were provided to the parents and students one week prior to the commencement of the regular classes.

The parents, students and teachers are excited to be back to school after almost 18 months of online classes. After many weeks of successful online education students, parents, and teachers were glad to come back to normal learning processes. Everyone has displayed a readiness to comply with the new safety regulations set by the MOH.

The President of SMC Dr. Syed Ahsan Jamil, other esteemed members of the SMC and Principal Mr. Deepak Patankar expressed their gratitude to the ministry of Education for granting the permission to reopen the school and also conveyed their best wishes and also advised students to take all safety measures.
