Indian School Salalah Kindergarten Section Celebrates Oman National Day

The budding stars of the Kindergarten section of Indian School Salalah celebrated the 48th

Oman National Day on 18th November 2018 with fun and frolic to celebrate the birthday of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said. The Kindergarten Section celebrated the Oman National Day, by organizing colorful performances by the LKG, UKG and Class 1 and 2 Kids. This occasion is celebrated every year with grand splendor and fiesta .It was a fun- filled day for the tiny tots.The special invitees of this grand celebration comprised of Principal Mr.T.R Brown,Omani Teachers Incharge Mrs.Mona and Kindergarten Incharge Mrs. Reenu Davis.Guest’s were welcomed with beautiful cards as a token of love by the CSE and UKG students.

Ms.Nada the Omani teacher took a lead to host the programme. Celebrations commenced with Quran reading by Mst.Omar of UKG-G. Welcome speech was delivered by Omani teacher Ms.Wafa.
This was followed by four mesmerizing Omani Dances performed by the CSE, LKG, UKG and Classes 1 and 2 kids that left the audience spellbound. Children were all dressed up in a variety of traditional Omani attires. Importance of Oman national Day speech was delivered by Ms.Meghna and Mst.Adidev of class 2. All the cultural items were organized and trained by our own Omani teachers.

Principal Mr.T.R.Brown addressed the gathering and also expressed his joy and happiness over the well organized programme by the kids and teachers. He conveyed his best wishes to the children and teachers. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude and appreciated the efforts of all the talented Omani staff who were the pillar of today’s colorful programme and also thanked His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin said for his benevolence and generosity because of which we all are here today. One of the wonders of the unique Omani culture is the exceptional mouthwatering traditional cuisine which was arranged by our Omani staff.
The hard work and perseverance of students and teachers had borne fruits as the programme was greatly appreciated by all.
