This was followed by a heartfelt welcome song and an energetic Rajasthani folk dance, highlighting the vibrant cultural heritage of India.

In his welcome address, Dr. Abubaker Siddique expressed his gratitude for the Ambassador’s visit, stating that it was a source of motivation for the outgoing batch of students. He also thanked the Ambassador for his strong support for the school.

The highlight of the event was Ambassador H.E Mr. Amit Narang’s inspiring address to the students. He emphasized the importance of values such as honesty, kindness, and the pursuit of education in shaping the future. Drawing from his wealth of experience, he shared two valuable mental morals with the students. The first moral highlighted how small, seemingly insignificant things in life can have a profound impact.

The second moral, regarding the "competency ladder," illustrated the stages of learning: from unconscious ignorance to conscious ignorance, then conscious competency, and ultimately unconscious competency. He encouraged the students to aim for the highest level of competency to tackle the complex challenges of the 21st century, challenges that are yet to emerge.

Ambassador H.E Mr. Amit Narang also shared a story from the Indian Epic Mahabharata, emphasizing the timeless virtues of kindness, respect for elders, and the importance of honesty. He urged the students to cultivate these qualities throughout their lives.

Following the speech, the students had the chance to interact directly with the Ambassador. Questions ranged from promoting India’s image abroad to managing the pressures of study and work. Ambassador Narang advised the students to begin by respecting their parents and embracing honesty in their personal lives. He also spoke about the inevitability of stress and the importance of being prepared for it, suggesting open communication to cope with it. When asked about the skills needed to be a diplomat, he emphasized collaboration, punctuality, and honesty as key traits. He also stressed the growing importance of learning new languages to succeed in the global workplace.

The session concluded with the presentation of a shawl and a memento to Ambassador H.E Mr. Amit Narang by the President of SMC, Dr. Abubacker Siddique and Principal Mr. Deepak Patankar accompanied by all the other dignitaries on the dais as a token of appreciation for his invaluable contributions. The Ambassador has been donating books to the school library and on this occasion, he donated a book titled The Golden Road: How Ancient India Transformed the World by William Dalrymple. He encouraged students to read printed books, noting that reading physical books helps improve retention compared to digital formats.
