‘Remember to celebrate milestones as you prepare for the road ahead.’

The transition from Kindergarten to Primary section marks a very significant milestone in a child’s life. Graduation ceremony of the Upper Kindergarten section of Indian School Salalah was held on Thursday, 7th March 2024 in the K.G. block. 246 tiny tots graduated from UKG to class 1.

The occasion was graced with the valuable presence of Dr. Muna Ajzoon, Associate Dean Oman college of Health Science- Dhofar as the Chief Guest. Dr. Abubacker Siddique, President of the School Management Committee, Mr. Yasser Mohammed, Vice President, Dr. Muhammed Yousoof Ismail, Academic chairman, Dr. Shariq Mohammed, Academic Subcommittee member, Dr. Shaji P Sreedhar, Treasurer, Mr. Jabir Sherif , Member SMC ,Principal Mr. Deepak Patankar, Assistant Vice principals Mrs. Anita Rose  and Mr. Vipin Das were the other dignitaries present for the Graduation ceremony.

The Graduation ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest of the day Dr. Muna Ajzoon, Associate Dean Oman college of Health Science- Dhofar. 

  Mrs.Byrose Parveen (Faculty, Kindergarten) and student of UKG Ms. Helna Elsa Joby extended a warm welcome to the dignitaries and the audience.

The Annual report was presented by Mrs. Anjali Radhakrishnan, In charge of Kindergarten. She took the audience down the memory lane with the glimpses of the academic year 2023-24 highlighting the various activities carried out during the year.

The outgoing students shared their memories and experiences in the Kindergarten in their valedictory speeches. The children fondly remembered their teachers who had touched their lives with love, care and attention.  They pledged to keep the flag of their school flying high and promised to bring laurels to their school in the years to come.   Vibrant music and dances   set the tone and mood for the occasion. The students of Kindergarten left everyone spellbound with their mesmerizing performance.

The day's chief guest, Mrs. Muna Ajzoon, commended the collective efforts of the entire team and extended congratulations to the young graduates from Kindergarten. Dr. Abubacker Siddique also lauded the endeavors of the teaching staff, while Dr. Shariq Mohammed also shared his valuable views and appreciated the teachers for their dedication and efforts.

Assistant vice Principal Mrs. Anita Rose, who has always been the driving force and a source of inspiration, addressed the gathering. She congratulated and appreciated the Incharge, teachers and support staff.  She complimented the outgoing students who spoke on the occasion and   wished and thanked all the Parents who were   part of the school activities.  

Speaking on the occasion, the President School Management committee Dr. Abubacker Siddique and other esteemed members of school management committee expressed their profound joy at the grand success of the programme. He thanked and appreciated the Kindergarten in charge, teachers and Omani Staff for their untiring efforts, dedication and commitment put in to make the programme a grand success.

The students were thrilled and excited to receive the mementoes from the guests. The joy and a sense of pride were clearly evident on their faces as they walked up to the dais to receive the mementoes.

The ceremony concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by the students of UKG. It was a truly momentous occasion for all the students of Kindergarten and their parents.
