The CBSE Oman Cluster Kho- Kho Championship between Indian Schools in Oman took place on 18th October 2023 in Indian School Nizwa. Indian School Salalah under 19 girls proved their mettle in girls category by winning the runner up trophy and silver medal competing against nine teams.
In the Quarter final encounter IS Salalah with a score of 12-10 defeated the last year’s runner up Indian School Sur to enter the semi-finals. Indian School Salalah ventured into the finals, vanquishing Indian School Darsait with a score of 12-11. In the finals, Indian School Salalah, playing the third match of the day lost to Indian School Mabela with a score of 4/10 and lifted the runners up trophy.
The school admins acknowledged the efforts taken by Mrs. Rajapushpam Mohandas and Mr.Sahad for coaching and accompanying the team. President Dr. Abubacker Siddique, members of the School Management Committee and Principal Mr. Deepak Patankar congratulated the Physical Education Department and the kho kho team for their accomplishment.
