Showcasing immense talent and passion for Science and Technology, students of Indian School Salalah participated in STAI - 2023 (SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION), the mega event conducted under the aegis of the Board of Directors, Indian Schools in Oman for the academic year 2023-2024. The event was hosted by Indian School Al Maabela in a blended form on 8 and 9 September 2023.

With more than eight hundred students’ registration in various competitive events and nearly ten thousand students for the Science Wizard online examination, the events were conducted in three categories – Sub-junior, Junior and Senior.  

Indian School Salalah has been consistent in participating and winning in STAI over the years. This year too, students here participated in all the events and accomplished great achievements. They secured A+ grade in Robo Race (Junior), Conscientia (Junior), Super Spellers (Sub-junior), Skidamu and Hack with Ethics (Open Category). The other results are: A and B+ grades in Web Design (Junior), B grade in Robo Race (Junior), B+ in Tell Me Why (Sub-junior), B grade in Codex (Senior). The winners were awarded with merit certificates and mementos while others received participation certificates. Recognizing the outstanding performance in the events, Ms. Isha Fathima from Sub-junior category and Ms. Zaina Fathima of senior category were declared the ‘SCIENCE WIZARDS’ of Indian School Salalah. 

The President, School Management Committee, Dr. Abubacker Siddique, members of SMC, Principal, Mr. Deepak Patankar and the admin team congratulated the winners and appreciated both students and teachers for their achievements in STAI - 2023.
