Indian School Salalah celebrated the Festival of Harvest, Onam on Monday 28th August 2023 with great vigour and enthusiasm. The teachers dressed in traditional Kerala attire celebrated together with hearts full of joy to celebrate the vibrant and culturally rich festival of Onam.
The celebration kicked off with the sumptuous meal, the Onam Sadhya in combination with a beautiful rendition by our dear teachers, Mr. Hareesh and Mrs. Bindhukala. It was undoubtedly a feast both to the ears and palate.
The celebration was then followed by graceful Thiruvathira dance by the teachers. The traditional dance enhanced the vibe of the celebration. Musical Chair and Lemon and Spoon race kept the enthusiasm of the celebration alive. Mrs. Mini and Mr. Sinu of the Malayalam faculty were the proud winners of these fun-filled competitions.
