INDIAN SCHOOL SALALAH CELEBRATED HINDI DIVAS ONLLINE

Hindi is the national language of India. Every year September 14^th is celebrated as Hindi Divas. To mark the occasion a wonderful programme was organized in virtual platform by the Hindi Department of Indian School Salalah. Dr. Syed Ahsan Jameel, Acting president, School Management Committee presided over the function as the chief Guest.  The Principal Mr. Deepak Patankar, AVP Mrs. AnanthaLakshmi, the Primary In charge Mrs. Anita, H.O.Ds of various departments graced the occasion with their presence.

The programme started with the prayer song invoking the blessings of God Almighty. Aqsa  Sarfaraz of class II, welcomed the gathering. The tiny tots of Primary showed their love towards the Hindi language through the placards with their traditional dress which won the hearts of all audience. Master Syed Ayman Ali of class IV highlighted the special features of Hindi language. Miss. Anandita Singh, Miss. Avanthika Lakshmi, Master Mohammed Arsh Azam, winners of Hindi poetry recitation competition recited their winning poems on this virtual platform that mesmerized all the audience. Ms. Karishni Bharatwaj recited the poem which highlighted the beauty of Hindi proverbs. The entire programme with decorated backdrops looked virtually live and was very much appreciated by all the audience.  

On this occasion a video presentation was done by the Hindi Department which highlighted the various activities carried out by the primary teachers of Hindi Department during online teaching. In his address, the chief guest Dr. Syed Ahsan Jamil,  President, School Management Committee, said that Hindi is an identity of every Indian and everyone should feel proud to speak in Hindi. The programme came to an end with the vote of thanks by the H.O.D of Hindi Department Mr. N. Balasubramanian.
