Achievements

Indian School Salalah always aligns its Vision, Mission and Quality objectives with the holistic development of the students. To develop Analytical skills, reasoning skills and Focused learning, taking up Olympiad exams turns out to be the best option and in our school we do provide opportunities for our students through these competitive exams. One such competition is SOF Olympiad.

Science and math Olympiads were conducted by Science Olympiad Foundation New Delhi, in the school in the month of December 2023.

A total number of 88 students from classes IV-X took part in this exam. The students were provided with extra assistance and guidance for the Olympiad exams.

The results of this exam are as follows:

Master Aditya of class VIII G and Miss Zaina Fatima of class X B were the proud recipients of silver medal of SOF 2023. The prize distribution ceremony was organized to recognize and celebrate the outstanding achievements of students of Science and Math Olympiad 2023 Achievers were called on the stage to receive their medals from Principal Mr. Deepak Patankar amidst loud applause from their peers and teachers. To add glory to the ceremony, Mr. Mammikutty (Vice Principal) and Mr. Vipindas (Assistant Vice Principal) and Mrs.Anita Rose (Assistant Vice Principal) were also invited to do the honors. Mr. Shinoj Thomas (HOD, Science) and Mrs. Subha T.S (Subject In charge) were present during the event.

The letters of appreciation were given to the School Principal Mr.Deepak Patankar and Mr. Sunit Garg (event coordinator) from Science Olympiad Foundation.
