Achievements

Indian School Salalah’s under-19 girls’ basketball team has made the school proud by finishing as the 2nd runner-up in the CBSE Oman Cluster Basketball Tournament 2024-25. The tournament was held on September 10th and 11th, 2024, at Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir. The event saw a spirited competition with 22 boys’ and 21 girls’ teams from various Indian Schools across Oman participating in multiple age categories.

Our talented team showcased their skills and determination throughout the competition. In the quarterfinal match, they convincingly defeated Indian School Muscat by a score of 17-6. However, they faced a tough challenge in the semifinal against the eventual champions, Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir.

Despite falling short of the ultimate prize, our girls’ performance is a testament to their unwavering spirit, exceptional talent, and unwavering commitment to the game. Their dedication and hard work have made the entire school community immensely proud. The School Management, the Principal and staff sincerely congratulated our basketball stars and their coach, Mr. Farhan Waheed PET, for their remarkable achievement.
