Achievements

A grand ceremony was organized by Indian Science Forum in its Annual Science Fiesta 2024 to honour the Sastra Pratibhas and winners of various inter school competitions on Saturday, 18^th May, 2024 at National University of Science and Technology, Muscat.

Students of Grades V to X from all Indian schools competed for this prestigious Sastra Pratibha contest. It was an online proctored test that tested students’ knowledge of Indian scientific history, general science, and their science curriculum. The topmost scorer from each grade was declared the Shastra Pratibha for each grade.

Miss Zaina Fathima of Class X, Indian School Salalah with the topmost score in the contest for Grade X brought glory and honour to the school by winning the ‘Sastra Pratibha’ award. The chief guest for this grand ceremony, Dr.Muralee Thummarukudy, Director of G20 Global Land Initiative Coordination office of UN convention honoured Miss Zaina Fathima with the coveted ‘Sastra Pratibha’ award.

The President of SMC-Dr. Abubacker Siddique, other esteemed members of SMC, Principal Mr. Deepak Patankar, admins and the teaching fraternity were all in praise for Zaina Fathima’s stupendous achievement.
