Indian School Salalah yet again exults with an outstanding 100 % results, making an impressive record in the CBSE class XII& X Examinations held in February-April 2024.

The Central Board of Secondary Education conducted the board examinations from February 15th to April 2nd and the much-awaited results were announced on 13th May, 2024.

The school is proud of its class XII Science stream topper Miss Sadiya Katoon, who secured a record score of 490/ 500 (98%), which is the highest score secured in class XII in the history of ISS and second topper in Indian Schools in Oman. Another major highlight of the result is its brilliant centum holders. In class X it is extremely commendable to have 12 perfect scores of 100-Ten in Malayalam, one in Standard Mathematics and one in Arabic. Another golden feather in the cap of ISS is the centum holders in class XII with a record breaking five centums in Informatics Practices in class XII

Class XII Results

Indian School Salalah once again proved its academic excellence by scoring 100 percent result with 162 students appearing for Class XII board examinations. Displaying an outstanding performance in the examination, the students of Science, Commerce, and Humanities streams have proved their mettle and set commendable records for Indian School Salalah.

Result Highlights:

 In the Science stream, Miss Sadiya Katoon topped the school result with 98%. Master Neelesh Kumar Kataria secured the second position with 97.4% and the third position went to Miss Vidula Mahesh Rao with 96.8%.  30 students secured 90% and above. Out of 102 students in the Science stream who appeared for the exam, 90 students got Distinction i.e above 75%, and 12 students secured First class  (60-74%)

Taking the top spot in Commerce Stream, Master Mohammed Nur Islam secured 95.4 % followed by Master Rishi Arun Shukla securing the second position with 94.4 % while Miss Diya R Vijesh secured the third position with 93 %. Out of 46 students in commerce stream  33 secured Distinction i.e above 75% , 13 students secured First class.

In the Humanities stream, Miss Shalabha V topped with 94.2 % followed by Master Syed Rezin Maroof with 93.6 % in the second position and Master Bharadhoj Mundirikka  with 92.6 %. In the third position. Out of 14 students in the Humanities stream, 11 got Distinction i.e above 75% and 3 students secured First class.

Class X Results

Out of the 231 students who appeared for the exam, 62 students displayed an outstanding performance by securing 90% and above.

With an outstanding 98.2%, Master Levin Joseph Thomas emerged as the school topper, followed by Master Luke Jose, Master Akhilesh Prakash and Miss Bushra Huda with 97 % as the second toppers. By securing 96.2 %, Miss Zainab Fatima clinched the third topper position, thus bringing laurels to the school with their phenomenal competitive performance. Out of 231 who appeared, 160 secured distinctions, 56 secured first class and 15 secured less than 60%.

Dr. Abubacker Siddique, President Indian School Salalah Management Committee, Dr.Mohameed Yousoof (Convenor& Chairman-Academic sub committee and other members of the SMC extolled the students for their  meticulous and authentic performance. The President appreciated the teachers and parents for their pledge and alliance that has continuously fetched splendor to the institution.

 

Principal, Mr.Deepak Patankar attributed the enormous triumph to the absolute hard work and resolve of ISS students. He stated that the teachers and parents have been great boosts in guiding and always furthering their self-confidence and reiterated that the stunning combination and teamwork of the triad has taken the school to the peak of accomplishment. He expressed his sincere felicitations to the toppers and all the students.
